Anya I created it in cs5 but it can be done is pse. I created a colorful background. Then i used the polygonal lasso to cut an odd shape to a new layer. I turned off the background layer. Then duplicated the odd shape and flipped it horizontally and moved it over so the shapes touched. Then i merged the two layers. I copied the merged layer and flipped vertically moved this shape up so the bottom touched the top of the previous layer. I merged both these layers together. Then i went to filter -polar co ordinates and chose polar to rectangular- edit flip 180 degrees. Duplicated this layer- then did polar co ordinates -rectangular to polar. Then started playing with blend modes, overlays, filters lighting. This is how i make a lot of my stuff. I just start with making a background i like but you could start with a photo it can make for some fun.

Mike thank you. I did use the dodge and burn tools.I saw a face, so i tried to bring it out a little.
