The subscription is definitely worth the money, even for us on this side of the pond who pay $72 instead of $49...

The subscriber area is where the new material is added regularly, plus you get the 8 copies of the magazine a year and access to the competitions, free downloads, offers etc...

Look at it this way, it's the price of a couple of decent books - but the site gets constantly updated...

I took a 1 year subscription out and I am very pleased with it - so much so that I wish I'd taken a two year one out and save some ££.

On Organizer, some people like it, others don't. Now I've got to grips with it, I am using it successfully. There is nothing wrong with the software, it's down to person choice. But as Jodi said in another post not using Organizer isn't a reason against buying PE3.

texture baby, texture
from what I remember...

blue color fill layer>filter>texture>texturizer>canvas>lighting'bo ttom left"....less than default 4 for height and less than 100 %

Duplicate layer>motion blur 90° just a bit.

I only say duplicate the layer cause you might want to lower the opacity of the motion blur layer or experiment with blend modes. I'm a duplicate layer addict.

I fiddled alot with that particular pattern to get it to look right. so I probably missed a few key steps....sorry

I just went back into pe to see if I could quickly recreate the denim..I remember the key I missed now...I had applied the 'woven' pattern from ps6 image ready to the second motion blur layer. If anyone wants it just mail me.
