How to add new fonts to Elements 10

I have Elements 10 and am using windows seven. I need some "Font installation for Idiots" step by simple step on how to place new fonts.

Photoshop Elements uses the system fonts.

Typically, you would download a font, extract it, then copy it to the Font folder.
Go to Start>Control Panel>Fonts folder

Open Photoshop Elements and it should be available.

I usually double click on the unzipped font file and when the font window opens, click on the Install button.

Not everyone's font windows look the same, for some reason. But mine and most of my PSE students get the Install button, although a few don't. Perhaps the version of Windows makes the difference.

I have Windows 7 Home Premium Edition; I get the Install button. If this button is not visible, an alternative would be to right-click on the font and select Install.
