Don't worry about Eddie Christellf, I got the idea he was just being funny and to me FUN is everything. I also don't know what to expect on the day so I am taking it all in but leaving myself open to all eventualities. I Hope that Sally and I are still on talking terms on Saturdays, but that isn't Garranteed, Women!!!!!

Ron, I can't tell from the pictures but is the fence taller than you all around the field? I've brought a step-ladder before to stand on and was able to put the camera right above the top of fence using a monopod, but still had to watch for the balls not to get hit.

This gtound did but this was a pitch just down the road Christellf, I have never been to the ground where they will be playing and I can't see myself perched on a ladder for 9 innings???

Chiming in a bit late here, but the 4 classic baseball shots are:

Pitcher in the middle of a throw
Runner sliding into a base (preferably home)
Batter smacking the ball (preferably a home run)
Outfielder making a great catch

A lot will depend on your lenses and pure luck. Shoot a bunch.
