Quick Collections
Upgraded to LR4 and Quick Collections is not there. Not sure if I deleted in error (thought this couldn't be done) or what. How can I recreate (if possible) another Quick Collection?

Hi Ken,
I didn't think you could delete the Quick Collection either. Even when empty, it should appear in the Catalog panel in the Library Module, like so:  Has it vanished?

What happens when you assign a photo to the quick collection by clicking on the circle icon at the upper right of a photo?

I installed LR4 and my collections are still there.

It's not there. I upgraded to LR4, imported pics and went through my work flow routine. After tagging pics for quick collection I went to view the collection and there was no Quick Collection in my catalog panel. Reported to Adobe. They suggested uninstalling and reinstalling LR4. I'll try that. Will keep you posted of the result.

That's one I've never heard of before. I hope the uninstall/reinstall does the trick.

Reinstalled LR4 and got Quick Collections back! Yeah!! Adobe folks seemed to be baffled but have been diligently investigating the issue...when I say diligently I mean it. Gotten at least 8 calls from engineers.
