Not just any camera ....

So you want the ultimate camera ... or the ultimate snob appeal camera ... no it isn't a Nikon or a Canon but a BLAD. If you carry one of these around your neck you will never ever have to explain that you really are interested in photography. So for the cost of a small house you can be one of only 500 the will be able to own this beauty.

In Canada the cost is slightly costlier than a small house it would probably cost me my marriage. Ah but what a small price for a 1906/2006 BLAD

I considered it and then checked the technical specs and the operating temperature range is only 0° - 45° so no use half the year in Canada and no use to Jodi when she goes visit the devil . I guess I'll save my money.

Of course for a mere Can $300,000 you could have bought the Phantom back in 2001.

I have tried a Blad and it's almost worth having just for the satisfaction of listening to the quiet purr the shutter makes - no nasty clicks with a Blad .

I couldn't find a price on the material and that's normally a bad sign. How much is this thing?

Thanks Jodi. That's my daughter. Surely you must be kidding about the price of this camera?

She's kidding - you can get one for a mere $12,995 (I guess that sounds better than $13,000)
