I didn't know what to do. I sat there and just stared at the picture for a while. After my second cup of tea, and a half dozen fig newtons, This is what I finally came up with.
I first selected the yellow pair of clogs. I was trying to get a sunflower effect, but that didn't seam to work out. I then played with the skew & distort until I got what I liked. Then I duplicated it until I got the circle. Then used a couple effects, and actions to get the woodcarving effect I liked.

Thank You gisele. I'm glad you enjoy it.
If I remember what I do, I'll try to share the workflow. But I don't always remember. Especially when you get to a lot of do & undo filters, and blend modes, & such.
