Editor is busy
I am using PSE 9 and I seem to be stuck in Organizer and cannot not get into Edit. Each time I try to use the Fix button, I receive an error message stating "Editor is busy, finish process and try again." How do I fix this problem. I tried the two solutions in the Help column, but to no avail.

Have you solved this problem yet? Usually when something like this happens to me, closing the program and restarting the computer sorts it out.

It happens to me also. I bypass the problem by having the windows of the organizer and the editor open. I click on the editor; it opens and I do nothing. Then I go back to the organizer and click on my projectphoto and then photo edit. Usualy I can proceed working on my project. It is not elegant but I hope it works for you.
(I am working with Windows 7 and PSE 9). Hans

Solution
Thank you for your suggestions. Restarting the computer did not work because I got a message indicating the Editor was still working. Therefore, I had to hard boot (turn off the computer by hitting the power switch) and then restarting the computer. That did the trick, but I really did not like to hard boot a computer.

Try to avoid closing down by hitting the power switch. Instead, right click on a blank area of the task bar , open the task manager, go to Applications tab, highlight Photoshop Elements, and click on "end task."
