Here's a site with quite a few sets of free brushes:

You're welcome, Ray. I was Googling around trying to find some lace brushes for the photo template I'm making with a heart theme and I came across those.

Hi Nancy,

I didn't find any *free* lace brushes, but I did find some lace patterns--but they are gray, not really what I want.

Aloha

I have a few question, I am very new to photo shop and when I think of brushes they are the ones that paint. I see that when i open the file they are a bunch of unique icons?? can someone explain me how why they are called brushes and how are they used. Thanks

hmmmmmm the best and easiest way I can think to describe what a brush does is through scrapbooking terminology and esentially what they do stamp an image on to your project. OR you can use them as an eraser and stamp a negative image onto your project. Does that make sense? If you were to choose one of the flower brushes it will put a flower "stamp" on your image. If you were to choose the eraser and a grunge type brush you could make a nice border effect by erasing the edge but with a texture. HTH!

Nancy,
I just saw these when I was looking for something else. They aren't free, but they look like they may well be worth the price. I may just buy them.
