Calling all artist ...

Calling all artist ...

If you take part in the Challenge you do have the option of having your Portrait placed in the Artists Gallery. Just send me you image and I will resize it and do all the grunt work.

If you also have a web site I will gladly post a link to the web site. I have a benefactor so when it comes to the Challenge web site I comply with four of her conditions and one of them may affect my posting your web site. Please no commercial, hate, spam or malware web sites other than that all is good. I do have a bit of wiggle room on the commercial thingy in that if I figure it is of value to the graphic world and is small potatoes I will post. it.

I do have lots of other e-ddresses but very rarely use them. So please send to either the Challenge or my home email address.

Hi Wendy.
It's the Dual 2.3 with a 23" HD display.
I immediately installed 4 Gigs of RAM and a 300 Gig Seagate internal drive, partioned half for a PS scratch disk.
At first, I thought the display was just bigger but it actually is clearer
than my iMac.
The machine is quite nice, very fast.
Had some glitches where I didn't realize some software had to be updated for Tiger.
Made my little G5 site with iWeb.

23 inches cinema display... wow !!! The display of an ACD is clearer than an iMac, at least I came to the same conclusion. We have an iMac and my Powermac and on the iMac, the image isn't as clear, though it's ok if you don't do lots of graphics.

Did you also got iLife '06 ?

Congrats, nice machine

Hi David, I though I was.
Oh... you mean get paid.

Hi Ward, I think you are envious not jealous.

Hi Ray, screen clarity is like knowlege or conciousness, you can only really evaluate where you have been.
Yes I did get iLife 06.
iPhoto is way fast and can handle 250,000 images

I just love it

iPhoto is also full of little additions, like Keywords on two columns, the ability to compare several pictures at a time, etc. It's a wonderful update!
