Photo Assignment #14
Now that we've all had something to eat it's time to pick up our cameras and head out. This week's theme is architecture. Whether a modern building in the city, a country church or a bird's nest, it's up to you.
 One last suggestion to make this thread more manageable to view, please post only your entries in this thread. Post your comments in the accompanying ‘comment’ thread. Be creative and have fun! Bill

Good weather yesterday, even some blue sky for a change, and nice and quiet around town. So a good opportunity to get the camera out. Took lots, here's a sample of the architecture in small town Ontario. Had to finish up deleting the blue sky as it didn't quite fit

Here is my entry - the Donnybrook Amphitheatre.
 The amphitheatre is on the banks of the Preston River and the Shire Council has recently built the tiers and grassed between them. The stone is Donnybrook sand stone and has subtle colouring ranging from almost pure white to a purpley/red.

Here's my image - the Clark Bridge which crosses the Mississippi River at Alton IL. This shot was taken from the wildlife refuge at the base of the bridge on the Missouri side.
