That is a very interesting challenge - Wendy Jodi Mike Chuck - I am waiting to see what you guru's come up with for this problem. I wouldn't know where to begin.

Hmmm this is going to need a lots of the clone tool - and patience!!!

As you need to repair an area that affects so many different colours, I would use the following:

1. Make a selection of an area of a single colour to be repaired using a lasso tool. For example the girls arm. Doing this will prevent you from affecting other areas, e.g. her blue top or the yellow of the capsule they are in.

2. Copy this to a new layer.

3. Use the clone tool on the selection to repair it the affected areas. Use a small, soft brush. Do small areas at a time and copy to a new layer each time, soif you make a mistake you can just delete that layer, rather than start over.

4. Repeat this for all of the affected areas.

Does this make sense?

Tomorrow (it's late here in the UK!!) I will have a go at one area as an example..

I'm sorry but you probably wont like what I have to say but...I like the flash reflection and i wouldn't change a thing about it. I believe it adds to the image and trying to take it away would be a mistake.

It certainly is an interesting pattern in the perspex...

Oh I forgot to say, when working on something like this, it is best to set the clone tool mode to "Darken" - that way it will only affect pixels that are lighter than the area used to sample, in this case the white of the flash.
