Scene markers don't automatically adjust
I am using PRE7. I created a project, including several scene markers. After creating the project I decided that I no longer wanted one of the clips in the video. I deleted that clip, and all the other clips "slid" over as they normally do. However, the scene markers did not "slide". The result is that the scene markers no longer correspond with the correct position they are supposed to mark.
How do I make scene markers automatically adjust when I delete a clip from the time line? Surely, others must have ran into this problem, and I assume there is a solution I'm just not aware of. It would be extremely frustrating if I have to manually adjust all scene markers anytime I delete (or add) scenes to the time line. Thanks for any suggestions on how to solve this situation. |

Quote:
The markers are tied to the Timeline position where you placed them for the original clip arrangement, not the clips in that arrangement. They do not ripple with the clips as the clips ripple as a consequence of deletion of clip(s). If you need a second opinion, please check out the bottom section of the following article: http://videoinasnap.chuckengels.com/...tips_04-06.htm ATR |
