Send to flickr

I'd love to be able to highlight multiple photos in the organizer and upload them to flickr.com, with their tags/captions being converted to flickr tags/captions in the process.

Now PSE6 is out and still no flickr support. I would love this feature. At least something like flickrshop, just for elements. Anyone have any tips?

ACDSee 10 just came out and is supposed to be able to upload to Flickr. I haven't upgraded yet so can't say how well it works.

I'm also an avid flickR user and would love to see an upload feature in the browser. I have even thought about writing one myself since the browser file is nothing more than an MS access database. It should be easy to read it with a script. The flickR api is published so that part shouldn't be too hard. I did write a web page that reads flickR sets so I know from that experience that using their API is straightforward.

I didn't know about flickrshop... have you written to the authors to see if they would add support for elements? I would think that would be an easy port since they have all the flickR api hooks worked out already.

Yes ACDSee 10 has uploaders for Flickr & Smugmug (more are coming).

You enter your log-in information once & then it remembers it.

And any tags that you've associated with the images will be uploaded to Flickr.

Hi Connie ..

This is a very old thread so I doubt that the original posters will still be around ..
