Background eraser
While I'm waiting for my PSE 3.0 book and DVD to arrive, can someone point me to a good source of information on how to use the background eraser? I can't get it to consistantly do what I want. Thanks

This tutorial for the background eraser is written for photoshop but it will give you a good idea of how it works.

Glad to be of help ...
I have to admit that I don't find the background eraser the most useful tool for removing backgrounds as it only works really well if there is a good colour contrast between the two areas. Usually I tend to go with a combination of the magic wand tool and the lasso. Wendy |

Great post. I'm just not completely sure that I'm understanding the depth to this. Can anybody explain this out a little bit more?
