Film looks in premiere elements 2.0 and slow motion

Hey,

This is my first post on here, lots of good info I've read so far. I just purchased premiere elements 2.0, been playing around with it. I'm wondering what would be the best way to do film like looks with the program. I've heard of people duplicating video tracks in final cut pro and reducing opacity, and deinterlacing, what would be some good things to in elements 2.0? Also I'm wondering how you add slow motion to the clips. Thanks very much

Slow motion and Reverse and Fast motion is done with the Time Stretch Tool.

I suggest you read up on video editing and look up some of your questions on the internet. Find out what Deinterlacing is for one thing. What do you mean by Film Like Looks? Premiere Elements has unlimited video and audio tracks, you can use as many as you like. You can also reduce opacity, do you know why you would want to do that?

Here is a good book to get you started
