Elements Killer Tips download page for newsletter subscribers

As promised, we finally have posted all of Photoshop Elements Techniques' Killer Tips podcasts from 2007-2008 in one location for easy viewing and download by newsletter subscribers.

You can access the download page in two forms:
For non-subscribers, the tips will also be available from the P.E.T. Learning Center, but we're in the midst of making other changes there, and it will be a few weeks before they're available.

I know that the quality of many of these podcasts isn't the greatest. We don't have access to the videos as they were originally recorded, only as they were posted, and many of them were highly compressed. If we look at doing this in the future, we'll make sure that we offer a bit better playback quality.

Thanks for everyone's patience on this.

best,
Rick

Thanks, Rick,

will prove very useful, and it will also give me something to do during this time of unemployment.

Rick, thanks! I'm sure this list will be very useful (and very popular as well). Good work!

This probably a dumb question, but when I click on any of the video tips mentioned in the recent newsletter, it begins to play after a couple of seconds, but there is no Pause button. It simply plays all of the way through.

Shouldn't the video come with some kind of built-in player with controls?

It seems like theyt used to.

An example is the selecting hair video.

TIA

Don S.

Hi Don,

A few of us are having the same problem....no play controls on the tut videos.
My problem seems to be my Vista 64 browser. I have three computers with XP and they show the videos okay.

Let us know what your operating system is and any other particulars.

btw, when you're watching the videos....you can double-click on the screen to pause the video....double-click again to play, etc.

There are video controls in the windows. IT just that the window does not open big enough to show them. I have the same problem when I view the videos in INternet Explorer, but I have no problems using Google Chrome, Safari, or SBC Yahoo. So trying a different browser will help.

I was having the same problem with the controls being cut off. By accident I found that if I press the space bar, the controls appear. Go figure.
