So, I wanted to do 12 x 12 layouts, but my printer only does 8.5 x 11 (it's actually an all in one scanner/copier and printer - and Epson CX6400) and I saw this place in the EScrapper newsletter this month.
http://photobookmemories.com/index.html But it seems a bit high - $2.50 for a 12 x 12 page, or $80 for a 20 page bound book. (Maybe that's not bad for front and back?) Archivers has software you can download, but you have to use their layouts, but it's about $35 a book - a tad cheaper, if limited. I have several traditional scrapbooks that aren't completed yet (some 12 x 12, some 8 x 10). But, I hate not being able to do 12 x 12's of my printer for the 12 x 12 book. So, where do you get your stuff printed? -Trish |

I can't help you with the printing question. I am also curious to know how people get 12x12 pages printed.
Have you considered workarounds? Design your page so that an 8x10 or 8-1/2 x 11 image is your focus and have traditional scrapbook paper, smaller photos, text, and embellishments fill in the rest of the space? |

I print 100% at home. Canon makes those album kits (pages and binding), as well as Epson. I think it's worth investigating. But, they're only 8.5 x 11 (the largest).

Trish
I print at home. I have a Canon 9100 that prints up to 13 x 19 so I can pretty much choose what I want. I also use an Epson R300 but it only does up to 8 1/2 x 11. I have used the Epson books and they turn out quite nice. The largest one does 20 pages of 8/12 x 11 and costs only $20 for the kit (on sale at Best Buy). I have not seen the Canon ones Ray but would like to check them out. I have looked into the on-line printers and I always start out with a book that's advertised at 19.99 on sale but end up with a book that's $40-50 because I can't narrow it down enough. |
