Bring back the Filebrowser
and give us the option to NOT install the awful Organizer.
Adobe's idea of organizing is a complete mess for me.

1. What is it about the file browser that you like ?
2. What is it about the organizer that you don't like ?

I'm also curious why it appears so many people don't like the organizer. I love it.

I agree with you. I don't care for the organizer either.
Reason being is if I move a picture from hard drive to a CD or maybe even another folder you have the hassle of having broken pictures in the organizer and removing them can sometime be a chore, it's not a quick process.
Using a file browser is much is quicker..

I dont like the way it tries to "organize" pictures. I have shots that span several days that I dont want broken down into several date folders. Also I have several subjects from the same day I do not want grouped together.
I have also seen the mess of hundereds of folders on a friends system. This organizion soon turns into a huge mess.

Also I dont like the database it has to build. I keep my photos on a seperate media hard drive and back up to DVD-R. I dont even want to thing of the nightmare that is involved when I do a fresh system install and have to reload Elements.
