Editing Multiple Images or Transitions
About a month ago I purchased Premier Elements 2 after using Pinnacle Studio 9+ for about a year. As you might imagine, much of my learning curve has been figuring out how things are done with PE2 compared how I used to do things in Studio.
I spent the first excrutiating weekend trying to understand the most simple things like importing images and video as the the approaches were often quite different. Nonetheless, I got through that stage and with the help of the user guide which ended up printing out (all 279 pages), I was able to compete a 45 minute project last weekend. At the end of it, some questions are still unanswered which I'm hoping someone can help me with: 1. How can I edit multiple images at once? For example, I had about 300 JPG images on the timeline and I often wanted to adjust the duration of dozens of them at a time but could never seem to understand how this could be done except one by one. 2. Once I've imported all of my video and stills to the timeline with the default transitions, I wanted to change the default transition between 30-40 images quickly. By this point in the editing process, I had put many zooms and pans across many images so re-importing them from the media window wasn't a viable option. Again, I couldn't figure out how this could be done except one by one. In Studio, I could have done either of these change in literally seconds and am trying to learn how PE approaches these mass edit features. Baden |

It has to do with creating a "slideshow". Hope that helps.

If you're talking about the slideshow feature within PE2, I'm not sure that this ios going to answer my question.
I used the slideshow feature to add the several hundred images to the timeline with the default transition and duration. It was only after this point that I wanted to make adjustments to many (not all) of the images at on the timeline. It was how to edit lots of images or transitions at once that I was trying to figure out how to do. Baden |
