Mary:

I am at the site and am about to hit "download" but wondering if there are steps to follow, such as for the installation of Elements Extras (for which there is a tutorial). Do you mind explaining the installation process?

Thanks in advance.

Mary ...

I don't think that you install in it PSE ... it looks like its a template and when you want to use it you just drag it into the image

Thanks very much.

Do you open the template while in the Standard Editor? (I apologize cause I have never used a template.)

Hi Marie - you would open it in edit mode but it truly is very very very slow. I double click on the thumbnail in the layer pallete and then go and get a cup of coffee until the text is selected then I type my text and click on the check mark to commit it. Then I go and get another cup of coffee while I wait.
Is there a particular thing you are trying to produce? Maybe there is a better way that someone knows of.

Thanks Mary. I may wait to use it for something in the future. I wanted something like that for my printable CD's.

Hi Marie,
I don't know what sort of printer you have but .....
I've got a Canon Pixma iP5000 which comes with it's own software for printing on CD's. You can manipulate the text in any shape wordart, add pictures, colours, gradients, etc. etc. I sometimes run the title of the disc in a semi circle to fit the curve of the disc. I'ts a very handy piece of software.
Cheers,
Robyn

Appreciate your response. The new PSE Digital Scrapbookers disc only provides printing in an arc -- unless I'm missing something. For example, I would like the word "May" to go entirely around a date in a digital calendar (somethng I saw in The Scrapbook Idea Book, Vol.9, Creating Keepsakes -- good idea issue).
