backup and uploading to photoshop.com help!

Hi,
Just installed PSE7 and I'm trying out photoshop.com but am having trouble synching and uploading photos.

First problem is synching from PSE7:
I am trying to update my backup/synch preferences, but whenever I click on the "backup/synch" icon, it takes about a min to load, then it tells me "You are currently not logged into your Photoshop.com account. Please sign into your Phtotshop.com account and re-open preferences to make changes to your Backup/Synch settings." Well, I was logged on and when I clicked on the backup/synch icon, it logs me out - I actually watch it change from "Welcome, gwyn" to "Sign In/Join Now". Anyone have any tips? Am I missing something?

Second problem is I'm not able to upload photos:
I've trying to upload different size photos but have been unsuccesful so far on all of them. I get a message that says "Photo dimensions exceed 6000x6000pixels; file is an unsupported format; file is corrupt." But the photos are less than this size and they are all in .jpg.

Help!

Hi Gwyn,

For your second problem, how are you uploading? Are you using the "Upload Photos" option from within Ps.com itself, or are you using the AIR uploader?

Where are the files you are uploading coming from? What is the make/model of the device that captured the images?

Thanks,
-mike

Hi Mike,
Thanks for your response!

For your second problem, how are you uploading? Are you using the "Upload Photos" option from within Ps.com itself, or are you using the AIR uploader? - I've tried both ways and no success

Where are the files you are uploading coming from? What is the make/model of the device that captured the images? Trying to upload directly from my PC; my camera is a Canon Digital EOS Rebel XT

I checked Adobe Forum and lots of folks are having the same problem. Seems that my account may have been corrupted in photoshop.com so they are in the process of resetting it. Hopefully this will help.
