Are old messages gone?

I was wondering if the Scrapbooking section lost a bunch of older posts... seems like it has happened a few times this past year. I was looking for some old posts and they are gone. I tried the archive search, too.

Hi Jessica

There is a setting if you click on "User CP" at the top of the forum window. One of the setting is to see all previous messages. Let us know if they reappear.

Jessica ...

They should all be there if you follow Mary's instructions ... but a search should have shown them anyway.

What is it you are looking for ??

Yes, thanks, Mary & Wendy, turning on that option worked. I don't know why the search function didn't show them?

Wendy, I was looking for what I thought was a thread about ribbons and bows... am interested in making some digital satin ribbon. Are there any tutorials for making bows, as well? I am making a gift album and thought it would be a nice accent.

Thanks,

Jessica

Hi Jessica ..

Here is a tut for making ribbons ... you can vary it to make satin. Just use a slight gradient on it and then add a little noise.

... and here is one for making a bow ... its written for photoshop so you will need to adapt it:

Let me know if you get stuck
