Do I save edited images as a Copy or Version set?
Is saving edited images in a Version set giving me any advantages besides fewer images visible in the organizer?
And do I want or need to save the original image after I have edited it? Do I need the original as a backup or something? Thanks for your input. |

Saving as a copy in fact saves the image as a new image with the word copy added. Saving as a Version forces you to save it with a new name but then tell Organizer about this change. So when you go into Organizer it will have group your original image and all change images in a very convenient way. This helps you move through your changes very easily. What should be pointed out that in both cases you do end up with new files so there is no likelihood of loosing your first image. Grant |
