Skin Tone
Hello Everyone-
I have been reading this forum for 2 months now and have learned a lot and just today subscribed. So thanks to all contributors. Looking forward to taking advantage of the many videos and tutorials. I have had PSE 6 for 3 months and have been playing/learning. The one thing I can't figure out is how to make two peoples images skin tone match. Yes, you are correct, i am trying to put someones head on another persons body. Don't judge me, you know you have all done it.....HA! I have tried the quick adjustments for lighting and color, but just can't get it right. Is there a shortcut or sample skin tone and paste or something. Thanks, Sean |

Hi Sean ..
Try this ... Create a new layer above the head and change its blend mode to colour. Sample the colour from the other face and with a soft brush at a low opacity paint over the cheeks etc ... avoid areas like the eye, face details etc. That should blend it in enough to match ![]() Wendy

Thanks Wendy,
I will try that. And I apologize to everyone for posting the same Thread in two different locations. It was my first post and I did not think the first one went through, so I posted it on the other board, but to my dismay, they both showed up. Thsnks for your help. Sean |

keep your pic in RGB mood
then go to channel - then select only Red hold the ctrl and click on Red Channel it will make selection in image then make a new layer and put the white color suing ctr+backspace then press ctrl+D (to deselect the selection) and now click on the layer (image) now go to filter/blur/gussian blur (adjust upto 40 to 50%) now come to layer opacity make it up to 55% and go to layer mode which would be normal change that into overlay you will feel the diffrence try it say thnx to me
