Cannot edit photos

I have uploaded some photos to my account a few dayas ago.
I just login again, hoping to edit some of them. When I place my cursor on a particular photo, there is a blue outline around it and an arrow at the right bottom. However when I clicked on the arrow, there are no edit options showing up. Furthermore the "edit photo" option at the bottom of the screen is not highlighted.
Is there something amiss? HOw come I am not allowed to edit the photos?

I am not sure what you are experiencing, but let me ask you this. Are you placing your cursor on the image file then selecting the pull down drawer in the lower right corner of the thumbnail? Or...are you clicking on the thumbnail as a selection then clicking to obtain the pull out drawer and selecting edit? 'Cause if you are doing the former, you have not selected a file to edit, if you are doing the later, then you are making a selection and the edit option is then available. Works at my end. Let us know.
