Graduation Curves

I would like to see PE include "Graduation Curves" even if rudimentory. They provide greater control of the image. I also have Nero PhotoSnap Viewer (came with Nero Suite) which has Graduation Curves. It is very basic and only allows control of Lightness. It would be a start for users to learn the elements of Curves.

After using the Curves feature in PhotoSnap I found a plug-in for PS2 and 3 called CurveMeister that allows the use of Graduation Curves. It is more complex than PhotoSnap with a much longer learning curve. I have been using it for a few weeks now. When questions arose e-mail tech help was only a day away!

Hi Joe ..

I use the "free" PET curves plug in and Grant's one too ... but I'm not quite sure what you mean by graduation curves ... is that something different??

Wendy, Graduation Curves is the name Nero uses. I believe they are one and the same. I think Nero picked it up as shareware and used it in their program. CurveMeister is quite complex and somewhat expensive. About the cost of PE3.

Yes, i was given a comp version of Curvemeister by the creator himself.... I used it in PE1 and then totally forgot about it. So I must go see if this works in pe3. I did like it alot.

Jodi, suggest you get the latest trial version as there have been upgrades. I followed the manual religiously and found some areas that could not be followed and others that had program problems. The creator of the program gave me work arounds while he investigates updating the program.

I like the program because of added controls it provides.
