Flickr?

This mornings Toronto Star has an article regarding dig. cams and in it mentions www.flickr.com where there are some downloads for photo albums, and other stuff that I don't really understand.

Has any of you used this site or are you familiar with it?

Hi Mack ..

I just took a quick look at the site. It seems to be one of the sites that do webstorage for your images ... similar thing to Webshots.

A friend of mine uses it to show her photos to friends. It's similar to our 'gallery" or the otfoto site. You can upload your pictures to their site and then send the e-mail address to friends so they can look at them. It's much better to use when you want to show some one a lot of photos rather than e-mailing them.

Hi Mack

Lots of free photo storage around ..with limitations of course. And usually not as fancy or as much storage space as the pay sites.
They might be an idea, just to get the hang of it. Plus it will give you a better idea of the features you like/dislike as well as features you would like that you they don't have.
