Grant's Tools for Windows XP PSE8
Diana,
Do you know if there is a post for PSE8 using the Grant's Tools? I have them installed on my laptop but in your instructions through the above post with www.modelpool.com it says to drag the layer and the mask from the Layers Pallet into the photo in the workspace. I get everything up until the part where I move the mask over to the photo. I have selected the paint brush and when I use the brush around the photo it's painting it black. What do I do after that?? The black marks stay on my photo. Any help would be great. I am working on a gift for someone for Friday. Wendy Walker ![]() http://www.pixentral.com/show.php?pi...JWzfm6mOcA5GB0 |

Hi wwalker, make sure you have the mask activated.
When the mask is active, click on it, then there is a small frame around the mask. When you paint with black on the image the black shows up IN the mask NOT on your picture. Black conceals and white reveals. Black will cover up where you don't want the changes you made to show. Hope this helps. It will also give you a Bump up to the top ![]() mks Edited: correction of mask to image
