I've been trying to watch Corey's new video and continue to receive an error message of :
Error -2048: Couldn't open the file week49[1].mov because it is not a file that quick Time understands.

Another thing I've run into this morning is the tutorial Wendy has out on Making Balloons. There are a lot of strange characters and spelling on my screen... do you see the same?

I sent Jon a PM concerning the latest Killer Tips. When I downloaded the file I got a total of 2,343 bytes... not MB but bytes. Jon is looking into that problem now.
Websi, I downloaded the tut on the balloons and it came thru fine. Seems to me I had a problem similar to yours a long time ago. Someone told me to make a change in my browser which did fix the problem, but for the life of me right now I do not remember what that change was. I am sorry but perhaps someone else will be along with a solution for you!

Hi all:
Just played the new video and it played on my Nero player. Quicktime flashed for a split second and then Nero took over. You might want to try the VLC player and see if that works. I also have been having trouble with videos lately, but it seems Nero or VLC always works for them. Nero came with the new scanning software so i did not know that it played Videos in the Movie Mode. Something else to check now, I guess.
