Program will not recognize Video camera
I just installed Photoshop elements 3 and am unable to transfer pictures from Cannon GL1 video camera into the program. I go to; Get Photo, select a device and the camera is not listed there. I know the camera is recognized by the computer as the computer signals the connection and disconection of the camera. I can also can capture pictures on other programs. Where do I go from here?

I thought Photoshop Elements only supports cameras, and not video cameras which is why it might not be appearing. For video editting you would need Premier Elements.
If your computer detects the video camera, you might want to create a folder somewhere and copy the images from your camera that way. I'm assuming that you video camera stores the still images onto some kind of memory card (internal or removable), if not, you really do need Premier... |
