I tried to email some photos from PhotoShop Express but the receiver could not open them. It asked her for the password. Do I need to give the password to them or am I missing something?

you might have to send them as a jpeg. If you sent a psd file and the receiver does not have photoshop thay would not be able to open the file

I just tried and it sent an email with a thumbnail and a link that said "click here". It linked directly to the photo and it works fine without being signed in. Perhaps your friend accidently clicked on the "sign up" link.

Or you have the photo marked "private" - maybe they need to be marked "public" for it to work.
