Great List of Lightroom Presets

Here is a great list of free develop presets for Lightroom. Quite a number of them I hadn't seen before. Have a look!

I'll have to check some of those out, just a word on the WOW presets, I read a few reviews online last week & a lot of users were not very impressed by these due to the minor adjustments to already current presets. Large file downloads of presets that could be done with minor slider adjustments.

Your last statement is really why don't bother with downloading presets. All they are - as the name suggests - are just ways of preseting the controls. Personally I prefer to learn how to manipulate them myself.

I like doing the basic processing to my images without presets. But for creative effects, I love presets. Even if I end up not using a preset, just testing a number of preset effects on an image gives me ideas and starting points for creative work. So even though they are an quick and dirty approach, they can also be a learning tool.
