Hello - New to PSE

Just got PSE 4 for Christmas! Woohoo! A real piece of photo software! I'd been crutching along with the stuff that came bundled with my Nikon, and I'm happy to have made the jump. However, I'm totally in the dark with this, and I'm going to need a lot of instruction/help.

I'm shooting with a Nikon D200. I shoot a lot of different subjects, but I'm obviously a mechanical nut, so I find myself shooting lots of things related to that area.

I was on iTunes and have seen the Killer Tips podcast for PSE 6, but was wondering if there was something for 4? There is one listed for 4, but it doesn't seem to be working . Anyone know of something similar? It'd be nice to find a beginner's tutorial to kind of help me get acquainted with the work flow.

I'm sure I'll have other questions...like the one I just forgot... Doh!

Thanks!

Google it

I'd try to Google ps4 podcasts. You might find some thing useful.

Good luck.

Not a lot of luck with that one, unfortunately.

HI Gearhead

Welcome to the village.

Quite a few tutorials and videos you will find will convert well between verions. Obviously the newer versions may have some added features but there are ususally workarounds.
Most of Corey's killer tips are pretty transferable. Or myjanee.com has both PS and PSE tutorials.

Hi Gearhead and welcome to the Village. I hope you'll start a gallery and share some of your work with us. I'd like to see what kind of mechanical things you are nuts about!
