Pictures for slideshow or video
Can someone please tell me the correct size to scan photos to put in a slideshow or video. I would like the photos to take up the full screen but I don't want them to be cut off or distorted. Can I just crop them to a specific size? Thanks for any help.

Hi George,
When viewing a slide show or video on TV your images will be 720x480 for NTSC format. Depending on how many images you plan to use, I scan them at the highest resolution to get the best image quality. Higher resolution = larger file size which = less pictures on the dvd but better quality ![]() Also with higher res you can zoom up and pan across images and they still look great. If you have any other questions feel free to ask

Tami thanks for the reply. I will be scanning the photos that I will use, should I size all of them to 720 X 480?
