Wanting new Gadgets

A great article in the new Outdoor Photographer dealing with getting the new gadgets that keep coming out. It can be found at

http://www.outdoorphotographer.com/c...traveler.shtml

Makes one take a step back from the check-out line

Hey, Bruce, thank you so very much for sharing that. What an excellent reminder that the photographer rather than the camera makes the photograph. I wish I could see the images made by the Philadelphia children with their point-and-shoots...

If I remember right - Ansel Adams in his workshops supplied instamatic type cameras (or something similar) to attendees. I believe the phrase was: If you can't take photos with these, then you can't take photos with the big cameras.
I too would like to see the photos by the children. I've seen similar projects where the children were given cameras to go out and capture the moments. Thru the eyes of children......

Thanks, Bruce. I'm so glad to have a chance to see into their world and only wish I had the ability to communicate through the camera as they do...
