Hello everyone. My name is Ben and I'm a photography junkie. It started many, many years ago. All of a sudden I've decided to follow a dream into a more serious focus of photography. I think about it day and night searching for my next pic. Now that i've purchased a wacom tablet the yearn to learn Photoshop Essentials is kicking in. I plan to move up to CS3, but we'll get there. Please help me understand and try utilize this tool to the best of my ability.

Thanks a lot. Actually, I would love to know what is considered starting point? I can't seem to import raw images in. Please help.

Hi Ben and a big welcome to our village. As Kimh said, you have come to right place for help.

Regarding your raw photos, are you using a Mac or a PC? I am a Mac user and use bridge and iPhoto so may not be able to help. However, there are plenty of experienced PC users out there who will be able to help you very soon.

Thanks everyone!! Elemobe I'm on a mac and realized that I didn't have the latest Camera Raw plug in. Got it this morning and works perfectly. I'm going to need some pointer really soon on how to really make this app work. I've figured out some small things but it's very elementary. I just want to stay in the mode of being a photographer first.
