I tried to use my camera this weekend, but on the LCD screen it is black with a small white outline of a square in the middle. I see the same thing in the view finder. Can't figure out what is wrong? Can someone help??

Excellent sluething. srusell, Be sure to call Canon first and make sure yours is the same problem...it does sound like it is. |

problem solved
Thanks for the info. I called Canon and they will pay for everything. The problem is listed on their website.
