New Laptop

Hay There!

How is it going? I found a good deal on a new Laptop with Windows Vista.
I have read lots of bad things about Vista. All of my software has worked with out a hang. I have always updated scaners, printers, and so on. And they work fine.

I am glad I have not run into a problem so far....

Peripherals were a problem in the beginning but, I think they worked out most of those issues. I stuck with good old XP in my recent purchase...

Don
So far so good for me as well with Vista. I just play by the rules and everybody's happy. I did install a wireless mouse that it didn't like but it happily went out and found a new driver / patch for me and everything is working just fine.

Cool beans!

Hay!
Thanks for your input!
I was looking at all the wire free mouse...every one I seen is just a bit small for my fingers. But im sure I will find one soon enuff. I sure do like the idea of portable.

I take shots of the local 1/4 mile track here in my neck of the woods.
I am looking at D80 but I am not sure. I hate to switch I am a kodak fan.
N series camera dont take a huge beating nor does it mix well with THC Compound So im going to see how well the D80 works....any input would help here.

Hi Don,

What is the meaning of the glyphs (τΏτ) at the bottom of your posts and in your location?

Cheers,

Bob
