Post New and saying --Hello

Hello --I'm rivv and I am new to Village and need lots of advice--I am thinking of getting -Adobe Photoshop Elements 6. I'm not sure if this will be too much for me to learn at my level of Dslr photography. For now I have been using Picasa 2 --and my photos are being taking as --Large--J-peg--Fine.
I was thinking of starting to use my Raw mode to take some and see how that went --but know nothing of how to even start to do this .Thats why I have joined here--to try and learn and have help in deciding if this is even something I want to try.
Does this softwear program have a trial period to see if it is right for me --and how hard will this softwear be for a entry-level noob Dslr user like me to learn. --thank you for any advise you may have.

Welcome Rivv. Yes, you can download a free trial from Adobe's website. If you have any questions then don't hesitate to ask.

Thumbs up Welcome

You can see my post from another person in the same position you are. There are helpful links there where you can view the software before the trial version.

Again, welcome!

Hi Rivv and welcome,

This is a wonderful forum with friendly people and it's a great place to ask questions about PSE. You should definitely download the trial of the latest version, Photoshop Elements 6 from Adobe, (only available for the Windows operating system) before you buy it. A quick word of warning though....... it's addictive!
