I'm new to Elements Village.........

I have a question - how can I change pictures around in the organizer. I am scanning baby pictures so I can make a digital scrapbook for my daughter. I have some pictures scanned, and also scanned some slides. I would like to put these together in one place and organize them chronologically. Since they have all been scanned in, there are no original dates and times. I am adding them the best that I know them. Is there any way to move the pictures manually?

You can reassign them with new tags and/or delete old tags(drag and drop tags or right click and rmove tags). You can start a new collection or add to a existing collection. You can also move files from one folder to another[ file>move (not move/copy to CD).

I may want to move the first picture to the 5th position, etc, so that they are in the right order.

Take the images that you have tagged and make them a collection. You can move them around in the collection. When you have them in order in the collection you can then use it to create your digital creations.

Welcome to the forum. I'm afraid I can't help with the organizer as I don't use it but there are several threads in the forum to help. Just search on Organizer and you will find plenty of answers.

What version do you have?

Like stated by KImages, the only way to move the image manually in version 5, is if it is assigned a tag to be in a 'collection'. Or in version 6, an 'album.'
