Kev -- how pretty! I like it. Only thing I might think about changing would be to bring the 4 squares with the text in it in front of the grid, so that it's a solid square. You might give it a try and decide . . . Still, it's really pretty.

Kev ...

What lovely images you have used and it certainly makes a scrapbook page.

I agree with Linda ... I think that the text may look better if it came to the front

Hello,
I took your advice and brought the text to the front I changed the font colour to make it stand out against the frame.
I must admit ops: it looks better.
Thank you,
Kev.

Okay Kev, I think your past the newbie stage! You've done lots of terrific projects in such a short time!!

My comments...... I think that you need to make that one big square behind the text. In other words, no dividing lines. The yellow text is preferable. Give it a drop shadow to make it stand out. If you look at your picture there is no blue anywhere, so the blue text doesn't tie in with anything and it really gets lost on the red background. You could also try the green colour of the swirlies, but I think that the yellow with a drop shadow would work better.

Boy when I see everything you've done, I wonder what the heck I've been doing all day! No accomplishments today at all! (well I did hook up the new printer)

Well we did go to the old age home today. It's a 1/2 hour walk for me there. Our visit was 1.5 hours and then the hike back. It usually poops me out, and after lunch a small nap and I never seem to get productive in the afternoon on Wed. Tomorrow hopefully I will get cracking! (course I need to figure out my new printer now too!!)

Wendy,
Followed your advice, it made a big difference.
You have more of an artistic mind than I have.
Hope you like it now.
Kev.
