Save Subscriber Tutorials

Using Vista/IE7

Go to Subscriber Tutorials Page (not videos)
Ctl Click "View Tutorial" Under the listing name of tutorial
Select the name of the tutorial
Ctl C to copy the name
Go to File | Save as
Ctl V to replace the default file name
Click on Save
Close window (takes you back to your list of tutorials)
Repeat with next tutorial

This is a quick way to save each tutorial and they can be viewed later even when offline.

A similar method can be used with Safari on a Mac. Open the tutorial you're interested in, go to FILE > SAVE AS and direct your computer to a location for saving.

The files are saved as "archive" files and can be viewed offline simply using the Safari browser. All text and images are included. You can decide which to print later, if that is your wish.

Mac users ...

Just switch to Camino

Then all you do is Control Click on the page and choose the option Save Page As ... it then saves the whole page for you.

It saves everything that is on the page ...

These are the instructions Gary K gave some time ago:
after viewing the video completely

using IE6...go to
Tools>Internet Options
General Tab>Settings>View Files
It should be there with a .mov extension

However, when I tried it this evening it didn't work. I've done it before so I don't know why it isn't working now. Anyone have any ideas?

Dales and Sarah, Read posts #4 (for Firefox) and post #11 (for IE) in this thread

One thing I am not sure is mentioned. For Windows you must be sure Hidden Files are made visible. To do this, click on My Computer, at the top click on Tools, click on Folder Options...

Click on the VIEW tab on top, then make sure hidden files is checked as shown here:

(Sarah, this may be your problem!)

You could grab them in your Internet Cache.

I have more than 200 video's grabbed in 1,993,756,929 byte.
In other words, I have all of them.
Thats about 2 GB, and it toke very lots time to grab all those

I maybe would become problems if I put them for download.
hmm, since I now see that this forum would close, I maybe allowed to
put them on a DVD with a stamp on from my local postoffice ?

Maybe some others had grabbed things that later would be useful to share ?

Hi Benny ...

As all the things have copyright then you can download them and use them for yourself but you can't pass them on to others ...

I was thinking about if they would still be copyrighted after the shop is dead -- Maybe we could have an accept from the previous shop if they don't wan't to sell them anymore ...
