They removed it for technical considerations. You can still save the movies, but you have to check in your browser's cache. What system do you have (Windows or Macintosh) ?

Regular problem
Try the FAQ's this is regularly discussed, even I am doing it currently as I am having problems.
It involves letting the video ( Quick Time ) run through to the end, closing it down Going ot Explorer, Tools, Internet Options When there go to settings (near the middle rhs) (on my version) Then View files You can then try and find the .mov file you want or look for the heading -last accessed- and set it to show last accessed files first. your .mov file shold noe be near the top. Copy ths and then paste into a folder you want The advantage of changing last accessed is tomorrow the new .mov file will also be near the top and easier to find. Depending on how much browsing on the net you do todays .mov will not be near the top. An alternative to last accessed is file type. this keeps the .mov files together but not near the top Chris Bishop

Anna,
I use a method similar to Chris except that i found that you can save all the searching if when you click View Files and you are into the cache files, go to the menu bar and in the VIEW drop down select details. Then when you scroll down to the bottom of the list, you will see the movie as the last item. Either the Quicktime or Windows icon and "?op=download". Copy this to a folder of choice. Far easier than it sounds, and the cache stays in the detail view making the next time less complicated. |

Well for some reason I am no longer able to access the tutorial videos by going to "Tools>Internet Options>Settings>View Files" and finding the Quitc Time movies.
Does anyone have a clue what could be happening. I have done this many time before in the above manner without any problems, but tonight I cannot seem to make it work. This is frustrating as I want to copy days 4,5 & 6 of the Portrait videos for future viewing. Dorrie |

Mac Video Dowload
I have quicktime pro which may make it diffferent. Let the video load. On my screen I have to pull the slider down. Then click the bottom right corner at the little triangle it will give you the option of saving it as a mov file.

I don't have Quick Time Pro, but should be able to save as I stated above and as Chris indicated, which is the same method I was using. And I have allowed the movie to play to the end. In fact neither Windows Media or Quick Time works now, yet they did before.
I have Windows XP Pro, and using IE 6.0xx Dorrie |
