Actions help

I am having a hard time installing and using downloaded "actions" to be used in PSE 4. If anyone can give me instructions that would be wonderful.
Thanks for any help, Nicole

Hi Nicole,

Welcome to the forum!

Not all actions will work with Elements. What action are you trying to load, and where did you get it? The actions must say they will work with Elements. (and sometimes which version of Elements)

It was purchased from Scrapbookbytes.com in the PS and PSE tools section. They call it an Adobe Lightroom Preset.

Hi ...

I can only find two in there that mention the word Lightroom

Black and White Lightroom Presets
Lightroom Flavors

and they are both Photoshop actions not Elements ones ??

Nicole,

What do the installation instructions tell you? I hope too you did not waste your money. Perhaps you could contact them and ask if they work with Elements, and if they do not, ask if they will refund you?

Good Luck

The top of the page does say PS & PSE Tools, so I would think it should work with Elements. If it does not, then I would definitely ask for a refund.

I have been over to look at it and I can't work out what its for ... ??? if you click on more details it still doesn't tell you if its Photoshop or Elements and even more puzzling why does it say Adobe Lightroom Presets ???
