How to scrapbook w PSE3

What is a good instruction PSE 3 book for scrapbookers? Looking for ways
to add depth for less of a flat look to layouts. I have seen some great pages
in magazines but my layouts look so flat.

Thanks!

Linda Sattgast is a wonderful resource! She is a contributor to the Subscriber access portion of this site and to the next newsletter that is coming out. She also has a web site -
www.scrappersguide.com

Her video clips are really good learning tools even for non-scrapbookers.

I second the previous post. Linda's tutorials are great. Currently, in the subscribers area, she has 4 tutorials on various scrapbooking techniques. One of them deals with embossing which sounds like it may be what you're looking for. Good luck!

Over Christmas I have been playing around with the embossing technique ... and it is sheer magic

At the risk of sounding completely out of touch with society, what exactly is scrapbooking and why would someone want to do it?

I have a few of my Mothers old scrapbooks from the 1940's but I can't image being able to duplicate this on a computer.

Is this something you print out and then bind into a book or just keep them in some type of special software that displays them like a book?

I do believe this an update on an old hobby that is making a really great splash on the market. It seems to be doing exactly what your mother did but moves it into the electronic world. While I am not a practitioner I do haunt the sites that promote scrapping because they have some wonderful ideas to build on.

I've taken a look at Linda's site. It really is good - there are some really useful resources. I am not into scrapbooking, but it has got me thinking about how I could use it...

Okay, I may be a tad partial because I'm a designer there, but it has lots of tutorials if you are specifically interested in scrapbooking with your computer.
