Display Date Picture Taken
After I import my digital pictures and modify them in PSE, I save them as PSD files. When I open Windows Explorer to look at the files in a folder, I would like to sort them by "date picture taken." Although I can display a column for this info, no data is shown.
If I convert the files back to JPEG's, then the "date picture taken" column is populated. I use Windows XP Home Edition. Any thoughts about how to display this info for PSD files. (Other than opening them individually and looking at file info). |

From Windows Explorer,
Naviage to where your files are. Set the View to Details Place your pointer *on* one of the column names and do a right-click. From the Choose Details dialog, select More. Scroll down the list and select "Date Picture Taken". Done. |

Thanks for your help but it doesn't work. I have tried what you suggested and it does not show the exif data for "date picture taken."
I guess Win XP only reads the exif data from JPEG files? |
