My First Attempt at Before & After

This is the biggest edit I've done so far.

The following is a picture of my brother and his family at the lake. In the "Before" picture my niece was farther away from the rest of her family. In the first "After" picture I moved her closer to the rest of the family. The second is just an attempt at an added "duck".

My favorite "After" is the one without the duck.

I welcome any comments or suggestions!

Thanks,

JuliaM

Very nice! You maintained the size proportions of the people quite well. Adding the duck fits perfectly.

Julia, you did a nice job. I like the one with the duck added but it looks a little large.

Duck, duck.... goose!

Nicely done -- it is fortunate that the you were able to work with the same lighting angle on your moved person. It appears seamless!!

Julia,

Great job, I wouldn't have known you moved your niece until you told us! I like the one without the duck, too--a quiet family moment!

Thanks so much for the comments. I enjoyed working on this and I'm looking forward to practicing with a few more photos.

Thanks for the advice. I'm going to work on the duck more tonight; Going a little smaller will look better.

I love Photoshop! I wish I'd had this program when my kids were little. I'm enjoying it now, though!

Looking forward to my next "Before & After".

I like it and I like the duck there. It gives the family something to be looking at instead of an empty pond.

What a great job. I prefer the duck as well, gives them something to look at. Another idea would be to give a reflection of something, not sure of what though. Anyway, just an idea.

Nice work! I enjoyed looking at this - it reminded me of the little game in some newspapers - "how are these two pictures different?"
