Aging
Well most of the time we are busy making people look younger.........removing wrinkles, colouring hair etc. This week on the Friday challenge at www.howtocheatinphotoshop.com to challenge was to age someone. Steve, being the good sport he is supplied his own photo for us to age. What a lot of fun. If you are interested in seeing some of the other entries check out his forum and go to the Friday challenge for this week. My entry is far from perfect but it was a lot of fun to do.

Thanks Linda. He just published his fourth edition (for cs3) I haven't seen it yet though. I've enjoyed the one I have which is the third edition.
Dorrie.......no way. No where close to doing something like that! It was interesting to do though and I wonder how close it will look to Steve as he ages. I'm awaiting Friday to see the comments I get. ![]() Yes Wendy his book is good. I took the aging process a few steps further than what he had in the book. I did a bit of research and basically tried to remember what the elderly people I visit with my dog look like. It's amazing how many people miss the eye brows. With men they tend to get bushier.....nose hair, nose in ears (some times). Thinning lips, age spots, drooping eyes. None of these are covered in the book but are of course a sign of aging. There are differences between men and woman too. |

Hi Pauline ...
I can't remember which issue of the book I have ... it may be No 2 ?? Certainly worth getting and lots of great things in it ... I did wonder abot getting another but not too sure if its just going to be repetitious ?? Wendy

Oh Pauline, how depressing, it is like looking in the mirror! (not the hairy version though, just the other saggy bits).

Linda Steve's a good sport. He gets used in plenty of challenges. As a matter of fact people at the forum ask him to put more pictures of himself on the cd for the new book as they didn't have very many pictures to work with!!
Wendy like every update I'm sure there is some repetition. There will also be new stuff but of course it's going to be for cs3. I'd still like to take a look if I happen to see it in the store. The fun thing about his books is that he uses challenge entries as other examples of what he is explaining so you get to see what others have come up with. It was something I loved when I got his book and now if I got it again, I would actually be familiar with the people whose entries he used. |
