Here is another quick one

Looks like I added the first one to Tami's thread by mistake. I just did this in the last few minutes and I will post it quick so I can remember what I did!!!

We were walking today and I saw this row of trees and snapped it. Had the dog on a lead so was one handed. I wanted more just the trees. I rotated to straighten, cropped, used the impressionist crayon filter (from a download I read about on one of PSE threads a while ago) Crayon distressed fresco rubbing, changed the brush sizes and pressure and there you have it. I think it will make a pretty notecard.

I find it amazing what a simple crop can do to improve an image. The effects you used are terrific, too. Are those PSE5 filters?

Shari,

I love the composition and effects of your "after" image! The cropping made such a difference!

Thanks everyone. I only got Linda's post via email so did not know anyone had replied and asked a question. Julie those filters are called Impressionist filters and I downloaded from a site that was suggested on I think a thread in Pixel Hangout some time ago. Unfortunately I did not make a note of the site - I just downloaded from the link in the thread at the time. I downloaded to CS2 but if you can find it you may be able to download to PSE5. I do not have time now but if I can find anything out I will let you know.
